She Told Me - She Told Me

I define employment as any paid or unpaid that makes a contribution to helping others in any way.

I believe all people with impairments can work in one way or another although it may not result in a living wage, and therefore may need to be supported with state funded financial assistance.

I have personal experience of employment as someone who has always worked, and someone who has employed personal assistants since 1992.

I have worked with many organisations in terms of the employment of personal assistants.

I have recently produced a guide on the interpersonal aspects of employing personal assistants.

I believe in terms of people with impairments being employed, or being employers themselves, it is important they have a good understanding of employment issues.

I can provide a range of consultancy and training services in terms of employing people with impairments as well as people with impairments being employers.
